REPORTS TO: Director of Operations/Clinical Director

GENERAL EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATIONS:

  • A bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, or a related field is often required.
  • Previous experience in the healthcare industry, particularly in behavioral health settings, is preferred.
  • Understanding the specific needs and regulations of the behavioral health field can be beneficial.

DUTIES AND FUNCTIONS:

  • Develop and implement recruitment strategies to attract qualified candidates with expertise in behavioral health.
  • Collaborate with hiring managers to define job requirements and assess candidates’ suitability for roles within the behavioral health field.
  • Facilitate the onboarding process for new employees, providing information about the organization, its mission, and behavioral health services.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and conduct orientation sessions to familiarize new hires with policies and procedures.
  • Address and resolve employee relations issues, fostering a positive and supportive workplace culture.
  • Provide guidance on conflict resolution and mediation, particularly in situations involving behavioral health professionals.
  • Establish and maintain performance management systems, including goal-setting, performance reviews, and feedback mechanisms.
  • Provide guidance on performance improvement plans when needed.
