REPORTS TO: Director of Operations/Clinical Director

GENERAL EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATIONS:

  •  A high school diploma or equivalent is typically the minimum educational requirement. Some employers may prefer candidates with additional education or relevant certifications.
  • Previous experience in the healthcare industry, particularly in behavioral health settings, is often preferred.
  • Proficient handling of telephone calls, including answering, transferring calls, and taking messages. A receptionist should have a pleasant and professional phone manner

DUTIES AND FUNCTIONS:

  • Welcome and greet visitors, individuals, and employees as they enter the premises.
  • Provide a positive and professional first impression of the organization.
  • Manage incoming phone calls, answer general inquiries, and transfer calls to the appropriate individuals or departments.
  • Take accurate messages and relay information as needed.
  • Assist with administrative tasks, such as photocopying, faxing, and filing.
  • Help with data entry and other clerical duties as needed.
  • Monitor and control access to the premises, ensuring the security of the agency.
  • Issue visitor badges and maintain visitor logs.
